Job Description
Following a recent reorganisation, this blue chip client is now looking to recruit a Tax Accountant. Supporting the Financial Accountant, this pivotal role within finance is responsible for tax reporting, financial accounting and budgeting/forecasting. Key aspects of the role include:

-Production of annual corporation and payroll tax returns, VAT returns and intrastat returns
-Resolving VAT and tax queries raised by internal and external customers
-Developing and maintaining an internal control framework for tax
-Commentary for monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts
-Managing the relationships within Group and subsidiaries.

The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing UK Corporation tax returns and VAT returns and have current knowledge of IFRS/UK GAAP. This is a high profile, customer facing role and candidate must have excellent communication skills and a strong personality.
