Job Description

This is an opportunity to join a company that is growing rapidly and there are plans in place for that growth to continue at an agressive pace. This position is a new role to help cope with the expansion and join the finance team that is in place.

You will be responsible for all aspects of accounts payable from coding and posting of the invoices through to completing the payment runs; you will also be completing supplier statement reconciliations, credit card expenses reconciliations and dealing with any associated enquiries. As the finance function is fairly small at the moment, there may well be times when you will need to assist in other areas to help your colleagues hit their deadlines too. There are excellent opportunities for future progression and growth in the company for the right person.

A new position has been created due to an increase in workload that has steadily been building throughout 2009 and approval has now been given for the additional head.

I need someone that has worked in a forecasting, planning, modelling and cost analysis type role that has the professional gravitas to present to both the Corporate Board and be face to face with external clients. The main remit of the role is to look at potential markets for my client to expand into and provide the financial support to influence decisions. There will be an aspect of travel in this position, therefore, flexibility is required.

You will be highly educated, but do not need to be a qualified accountant; I am able to consider industry specific qualifications as well.
