Job Description
Tasks and Responsibilities

·Responsible for timely collection of reports from investment managers
·Prepare quarterly (straightforward) consolidation
·Act as primary contact for local accountants of investments
·Improve collection of essential information as well as the quarterly consolidation process
·Assist with preparation of financial information for the Funds models
·Manage the cash flows of the Fund and corporate entities
·Improve and maintain the Funds life time budget
·Work closely with the investment teams for reporting on investments
·Orderly and professional management of all files and documents
·Travel to parts of Europe to meet with key stakeholders


Profile

·Minimum of four years relevant work experience within an international accounting firm or trust organization
·Exposure to Real Estate, Private Equity or Investment Fund businesses is highly preferable
·Strong organisational and planning skills are required in order to manage multiple projects and information flows in order to meet deadlines
·Excellent modelling skills and strong knowledge of Excel
·Strong analytical and accounting skills as well as experience with consolidation
·Some exposure to applying different GAAPs
·Good diplomacy and solid communication skills at all levels
·Dutch, English and preferably a third language like German or French
·Independent discipline and self starter
·Computer literate (MS Office)
·Willing to travel in order to ensure that reliable reporting is achieved on time and that any ad-hoc projects are managed efficiently
·Ability to work well with colleagues in London remotely

Job Description
This is an exciting and varied finance role: working directly with operational managers to ensure accurate reflection of performance in the accounts and best practise on financial management in the division. A wide range of experience is offered in this role. We are looking for somebody who can competently manage the detail and assist proactively in the continuous improvement of processes, alongside recognition of the bigger picture issues.
Specific Responsibilities:
Publish monthly divisional management accounts.
Produce revenue recognition, work in progress adjustments, provisions, accruals, prepayments, time recording and any other journals.
Analyse and interpret the divisional management accounts, actively highlighting the key issues and variances.
Participate in the annual planning and budgeting process for the division.
Ensure that correct accounting practice is adhered to within the division and that audits are complied with and that auditors queries are resolved.
Maintain standing data for projects on Oracle.
