My client is urgently looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their busy finance team with a start date of 1st February.We are looking for someone comfortable dealing with and processing large volumes of invoices with a good experience and enthusiasm.
Key requirements:
Experience of both purchase ledger and credit control.
Understanding of double entry book-keeping.
Control of fixed assets register and posting of depreciation.
Responsible for the preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Production, reconciliation and submission of quarterly VAT returns.
A self motivated "can do" approach
Great interpersonal skills
Exposure to SAP is advantageous

An International business is looking for a financial planning analyst.You will be a qualified accountant delivering all month end reporting and preparing variances to budget/forecast and reporting this to management.
You will be responsible for the accurate accounting of all costs, analysis of the P&L, balance sheets, billings, and purchase orders.
Additionally you will be involved with overseas new business, facing the challenge of dealing with different process and cultures.
You will be a qualified account who is very comfortable working in a fast paced environment and can manage their own workloads with the minimum of supervision. Strong financial modelling skills would highly advantageous. Excellent communication and people skills are a must.
