General Description: · Have responsibility for all revenue and cost of sales of sales in the International division in Denmark, UK, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Australia, China · Work with the business unit to ensure that the correct revenue and costs are recognised at all times · Develop time and expense system integration with Great Plains · Ensure robust controls are in place at all times · To integrate new acquisitions rapidly using best practice · Help drive out efficiencies from newly upgraded accounting systems · Develop project reporting via web portal · Partner with business leaders to enable them to understand the key metrics in their businesses · Develop and mentor project Admin team (Team of 4 ) · Ensure that all projects have correct contractual documentation at all times · Asses risk of customers financial position before recognising revenue · Assist Financial Planning Manager with forecast project revenues · Production of timely and accurate monthly reports to the business units · Conduct monthly close reviews with BU leaders Work experience requirements: · Minimum 5 years relevant work experience · Experience working in a European environment · Worked with US GAAP, SOP97-2, 81-1 (desirable not essential) · Worked in a project accounting environment for the last 2 years ideally in the software or services sector · Great Plains experience (desirable not essential)Email the consultant Michael Stannah about this job.

01226 - Senior Internal Audit Manager

Job Description
As one of a small team of senior managers reporting to the Vice President of Internal Audit, your role will incorporate Global Head Office, regional and functional responsibilities, focusing on those areas of business risk and opportunity. It will involve a wide variety of high profile projects from financial review and control, to business process improvement and major project evaluation. This will ensure exposure to a broad range of the Groups activities and processes and provides excellent opportunity for future career development across the Group.Assist the Vice President Internal Audit with the long term strategic plan for Internal Audit in conjunction with senior management and our Internal Audit outsource providers.
Produce the annual Area and Functional audit plan focussing on key business risks; cyclical coverage of key controls; selected compliance audits, self assessment and follow up audits.
Take responsibility for the executive and quality control of audits and for the delivery of audit reports (including management comments) for issue to Corporate, Area, regional or local management and the Vice President Internal Audit.
Prepare quarterly summary reports of principal audit findings and key performance indicators for discussion with executive management and for collation by the Vice President Internal Audit for presentation to the Audit Committee.
Provide ad hoc investigation and advisory risk and control services to operational management as required.
Participate in the management and development of audit teams (i.e. Latam and South Asia as appropriate) working closely with the Vice President Internal Audit in training, staff development and recruitment.
Keep up to date with business developments (including acquisitions, new systems, new products and services etc) with particular emphasis on your key Functional and Area responsibilities.

The Audit Manager will be expected to manage and participate in extremely complex assignments, where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible factors. The Audit Manager will applyadvanced skills / competencies and adapt procedures, techniques and tools to effectively deliver internal audit services throughout the organisation.
Effectively manage staff of up to 10 auditors. Overall responsibility for project definition, completion and reporting to audit management team. Must develop project objectives/scope and create work plans (appropriate resources, timing and approach).
Assign work to team members and monitor progress to successful completion.
Supervise project team members during fieldwork and prepare staff evaluations at project close.
