This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate that is proactive, ambitious and career focused to join a corporate organisation with excellent career prospects.

The position will be working with a number of financial and non-financial managers across the business for the European region and reporting to the US. You will be responsible for assisting with the strategic and planning control, budgeting and forecasting and financial modelling. You will be working on a number of projects too e.g. M&A (they acquire one company each year), cost analysis of their contact centres etc.

The successful candidate will have worked in a commercially focused position, ideally in a start up situation or working within an entrepreneurial organisation. You will have excellent communication skills and the proven ability to influence decisions and liaise across a multi-cultural environment. This is a stand alone role reporting into VP Finance and you will be given a great deal of autonomy.

This is a complex position managing the cash flow for c. 14 entities across Europe in three currencies. The role is responsible for preparing the forecasting and planning, monitoring the actual and reporting on and presenting the variances. Advanced Excel is essential and generally being good with financial systems is important as is the ability to present findings and influencing decisions.

Job Description
Due to recent expansion my client are recruiting a technically strong tax accountant to join their busy team.

Reporting directly to the US; duties will include:
·Supporting the Corporate Tax Director with analysis and calculations for FIN48, FAS109 and other US GAAP reporting requirements
·Complete Corporate Tax Returns for each legal entity with the assistance of local tax advisors
·Assist in preparation of tax notes to the financial statements
·Complete monthly and quarterly VAT Returns and ensure VAT compliance at all times
·Managing tax inspections and enquiries

The successful applicant will have substantial post qualified experience, have worked with ERP systems and a high attention to detail.
