Job Description

You will be assisting in ensuring processes are in place for the corrective / preventive and continual improvement of various aspects of the business ensuring that both internal objectives are met and high customer satisfaction.

Specific duties will include:

Due to an internal promotion a vacancy has arisen within this very successful hi tech US owned organisation. This is a senior role where you will take full responsibility of the smooth running of the General Ledger department and ensure that accounting is accurate, on time and in accordance with relevant legislation.

Reporting directly to the EMEA FD your success will be measured by the following duties and responsibilities:

Reporting operationally to the Regional President and functionally to the Group CFO this role has regional responsibility for Finance. With a team of Country Financial Controllers reporting into you, you have full responsibility for the production of timely and accurate reports, monitoring regional KPIs, co-ordinating the annual budgeting process, ensuring adherence to all reporting standards etc . However, you will also be adding value through your ability to demonstrate a strong understanding of commercial issues and their impact on the business.
