01740 - Revenue Recognition Manager

Job Description

Our client, a US software organisation, seeks an experienced finance professional with strong revenue recognition experience (SOP 97-2) ideally within an international high-tech / software environment. Reporting to the Finance Director, the key responsibility will be to manage revenue recognition in accordance with US GAAP SOP 97-2 and to ensure all prospect deals receive appropriate treatment.
This is a high-profile role within an expanding US listed business. You will be responsible for a small team and will be in regular liaison with senior management and sales / operations. You will have excellent technical experience coupled with commercial acumen and exposure to sales / operations and legal.
The ideal candidate will be qualified with experience of European reporting. SOP 97-2 is a pre-requisite.

Due to continued growth and an internal move within my clients team, I am looking for an individual that is capable of managing the Accounts Payable function. There are no direct reports at this moment in time, but that may change as the company continues to expand.

You will be responsible for the cost centre coding of invoices, month end processes, the payment runs, cashflow monitoring, supplier liaison, looking at existing processes and making amendments where necessary. The successful candidate will need strong Accounts Payable experience, but will also need to have gained multi currency and multi location experience.

01718 - Management Accountant

Job Description

This is a fantastic opportuity to join a growing organisation in a Management Accountant capacity, but with the plan in place to progress to FC within approx. 18 months. The role will be very hands on and you will be responsible for producing the monthly management accounts for a number of legal entities, balance sheets reconciliations and management reports and subsequent analysis.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, be career focused, but happy to roll their sleeves up, have strong presentation skills when reporting to the board and will have gained experience of producing management accounts for overseas entities. Initially there will be no direct reports to this role, but that will change in time.

It is absolutely essential you have experience of completing FSA returns as well as being technically strong with financial regulations, statutory accounting and monthly financial accounting duties. You will also need to be a qualified accountant.
