Reporting operationally to the Regional President and functionally to the Group CFO this role has regional responsibility for Finance. With a team of Country Financial Controllers reporting into you, you have full responsibility for the production of timely and accurate reports, monitoring regional KPIs, co-ordinating the annual budgeting process, ensuring adherence to all reporting standards etc . However, you will also be adding value through your ability to demonstrate a strong understanding of commercial issues and their impact on the business. You will be expected to have input into commercial bids and lead projects ranging from business partnering with Clients and M&A work through to internal systems implementations. As a key member of the Senior Management Team you will be expected to provide strong leadership and strategic input into all aspects of the business in the region, identifying and acting on both risks and opportunities as the business looks to continue to grow.

Job Description
Blue chip US telco currently requires a UK FD. Leading a team of 16 (including 5 based in India) to run all financial aspects of the UK and Ireland business.
Liaison with key customers regarding specific financial queries/issues. Including prompt payment discount schemes, collection issues and invoicing problems
Key bid management. Ensuring financial viability and minimisation of any financial risk around large bids.
Approval on all discount/credit note requests.
Key member of exec team - Regional VP, Ops, HR and Legal Directors.
Ensure SOX and Revenue Recognition compliance for overall UKIEZA business.
Full responsibility for monthly collection targets. Working with UK-based collections manager and Customer liaison on key escalations.
Implementing and monitoring the financial and commercial elements of both short and medium strategies.
